Chakra Healing for Leaders: Goodbye Burnout with Universal Law and Biblical Wisdom

“Stop meditating—it’s the work of the devil,” my sister once told me.

I argued: would you rather I stay depressed? I just knew I needed this. My soul was tired, my body was screaming for rest, and my spirit felt disconnected. So I kept going to the Basilica of St. Mary, where I had discovered centering prayer. That sacred silence saved me from debilitating burnout and depression.

It also taught me something that changed everything:
Tools are neutral. What matters is how we use them.

That truth eventually led me to become an awakening coach, inspired by the contemplative teachings of Fr. Thomas Keating. Through his guidance, I deepened my practice of stillness, learned to listen for God’s voice within, and began to understand what it means to live in alignment with His His design.

From “Secret Coach” to Soul Powered Leader

When I first started coaching, I explored energy work, chakras, and universal principles quietly. I feared the raised eyebrows—especially from those who believed such tools were incompatible with faith. One client even ended our work together because she preferred to stay strictly within her religious framework.

For a while, I played small. I hid my deeper approach and operated in secret. Until one day, a client looked me in the eye and said, “Tess, you’re a Soul Coach.”

That moment was a turning point. I rebranded from Open Heart Mind Coaching to Soul Powered Leaders, embracing the truth that I wasn’t just coaching skills—I was guiding soul embodiment.

Still, it took time before I publicly admitted that I incorporated chakra healing and energy work into my sessions. It seemed “too spiritual” for business settings. And yet, the more I worked with leaders, the more I saw how clearing blocks and aligning energy transformed not only their personal lives but also their careers and companies.

Bible confirmed it.

The more I studied, the more I realized something profound:
The principles behind chakras and universal laws aren’t in conflict with the Bible—they’re confirmed by it.

These truths have been woven into creation since the beginning of time. The language may differ—energy centers, laws of the universe, scriptural wisdom—but they point to the same reality:
God created us with a divine blueprint, and when we live in alignment with it, life flows.

Here’s how each chakra connects with both a Universal Law and God’s Word, and how this alignment shows up in leadership, business, and everyday life.

What is a Chakra?

Chakras are energy centers within the body that correspond to physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our being. Each chakra has a unique location, purpose, and influence on our well-being. When balanced, they help us experience flow, clarity, and alignment in life and leadership.

Root Chakra — Stability & Trust (Base of Spine)

Law of Divine Order
“The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer… my stronghold.” — Psalm 18:2

The Root Chakra symbolizes our connection to the physical world and our sense of stability. It aligns with the Universal Law of Divine Order, which reminds us that life has a rhythm, a right timing, and a divine sequence.

Large tree with deep roots symbolizing stability, grounding, and a strong life foundation.

Psalm 18:2 paints the picture perfectly: when we anchor ourselves in faith and purpose, we establish a foundation as solid as a rock—steady, immovable, and secure, even in the face of life’s storms.

The Root Chakra is about being grounded, secure, and anchored in truth. And in leadership, this is everything. When you’re rooted in faith, you make decisions from stability instead of fear. You don’t get tossed around by every crisis, market shift, or opinion—you stand firm.

The Universal Law of Divine Order reminds us that life has a rhythm and a right timing. Nothing is random. Everything has its place and purpose. And God’s plan is unfolding exactly as it should. Even in uncertainty, you can rest in the assurance that the ground beneath you is unshakable.

When your Root Chakra is balanced, you carry a quiet, unshakable strength. You trust God’s timing, move with confidence, and build from a foundation that will not fail.

Sacral Chakra — Creativity & Flow (Lower Abdomen)

Law of Attraction
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” — Mark 11:24

A hand holding a young plant with roots exposed, symbolizing creativity, growth, and new beginnings.

The Sacral Chakra represents your capacity for joy, creative expression, and emotional connection. It’s the seat of your ability to dream, envision possibilities, and bring them into reality. It aligns with the Universal Law of Attraction, which teaches that what we focus on, we inevitably draw toward us.

Mark 11:24 underscores the significance of faith and belief in the manifestation process, reminding us that faith and belief are central to receiving what we ask for. When your heart and intentions are aligned with God’s promises, you begin to see those promises take form in your life. The Law of Attraction mirrors this truth: what you dwell on in thought, emotion, and faith shapes the life you experience.

In leadership, a balanced Sacral Chakra fuels innovation, fosters collaboration, and inspires solutions. Instead of chasing opportunities, you attract them. Challenges become invitations to create rather than threats to avoid.

When you’re in flow, you don’t have to chase opportunities—they find you. You don’t strive or force—you create with ease. This is the power of aligning your creative energy with God’s promises.

The Universal Law of Attraction reinforces that the energy we put out—through our words, emotions, and focus—returns to us multiplied. By creating from joy, gratitude, and faith, we draw more of the same into our lives.

When your Sacral Chakra is balanced, you live in a state of flow. Ideas come easily. Doors open effortlessly. You co-create with God, allowing His abundance to pour through your creativity into every area of life.

Solar Plexus — Power & Purpose (Upper Abdomen)

Law of Cause and Effect
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13

The Solar Plexus Chakra is your center of personal power, courage, and responsibility. It aligns with the Universal Law of Cause and Effect, which teaches that every action creates ripple effects in your life and the world around you.

Philippians 4:13 reminds us that our strength comes through Christ. True power is not force or control—it is the divine energy working through you. We possess inner strength and divine support to take action and manifest our desires. Every action you take sends ripples outward, shaping what returns to you in alignment with God’s plan.

In business and leadership, the Solar Plexus is what drives you to take bold action and follow through. When it’s aligned, you move from a place of conviction rather than ego, creating conditions for success rather than waiting for luck or chance. You don’t just hope things will work out—you actively create the conditions for them to work out.

An imbalanced Solar Plexus may lead to indecision, self-doubt, or excessive control. When balanced, it is the essence of empowered leadership: acting with faith, courage, and responsibility, trusting that what you sow, you will reap.

When your Solar Plexus Chakra is aligned, you step into your God-given authority and purpose. You act boldly, respond wisely, and influence your world with integrity, creating outcomes that honor both your vision and His design.

Heart Chakra — Love & Generosity (Center of Chest)

Law of Abundance
“Give, and it will be given to you… For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” — Luke 6:38

The Heart Chakra represents love, compassion, and connection. It is the center where divine love flows in and out, guiding your relationships, choices, and leadership. It aligns with the Universal Law of Abundance, which reminds us that there is an infinite supply available in all areas of life—love, opportunities, and blessings.

Luke 6:38 captures the essence of this law: when we give freely from the heart, we receive in abundance. Generosity and love are not depleted by giving—they expand and return to us multiplied.

In leadership, a balanced Heart Chakra allows you to lead with empathy, authenticity, and generosity. You build trust, nurture collaboration, and inspire loyalty. It’s about generosity in words, actions, and opportunities—not because you’re trying to get something back, but because you know the well never runs dry.

When your heart is open, you inspire trust, deepen relationships, and foster a sense of belonging. Teams thrive when leaders operate from a place of abundance rather than fear or scarcity. Your work becomes more than a transaction—it becomes a transformation.

When your Heart Chakra is balanced, love and abundance flow effortlessly. You give without expectation, receive without guilt, and watch as life surprises you with blessings you couldn’t have orchestrated yourself. By aligning your heart with God’s love and the flow of abundance, you enrich both your life and the lives of those around you.

Throat Chakra — Truth & Expression (Throat)

Law of Vibration
“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” — Proverbs 18:21

The Throat Chakra governs communication and self-expression. It is the bridge between your inner truth and the outer world, guiding how you share your vision, set boundaries, and speak life into existence. It aligns with the Universal Law of Vibration, which teaches that everything in the universe vibrates at a particular frequency—including our thoughts, words, and actions—and that these vibrations shape our reality.

Proverbs 18:21 underscores the importance of mindful communication and the profound impact our words can have on our lives and the lives of others. Words carry power: they can build up or tear down, give life or destroy it.

In leadership, this chakra shapes culture and influence. It inspires or discourages, builds up or tears down. Speaking from alignment raises the vibration of a room; speaking from fear, anger, or ego lowers it.

When your Throat Chakra is balanced, your voice becomes a tool of creation. You communicate with confidence, authority, and clarity. Your words carry weight because they come from truth. They align with God’s purpose, opening doors, shifting atmospheres, and calling forth the life and outcomes you are meant to manifest.

When we speak words of love, encouragement, and positivity, we raise our vibrational frequency and attract more of the same into our lives. Conversely, negative or harmful words lower our vibration and attract negativity.

Third Eye Chakra — Vision & Clarity (Between Eyebrows)

Law of Correspondence (“As above, so below”)
“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.” — Matthew 6:22

The Third Eye Chakra, located between the eyebrows, governs intuition, insight, and inner vision. The Third Eye is your inner compass—your ability to see beyond what’s visible and discern what’s true. It aligns with the Universal Law of Correspondence, which teaches that patterns in the spiritual or unseen realm are reflected in the physical world—as within, so without.

Matthew 6:22 sheds light on this connection, emphasizing the significance of inner vision and perception: when our hearts and minds are aligned with God’s light, our whole life is illuminated.

In leadership, this chakra enables foresight and discernment. It means making decisions from wisdom, not just data. You perceive the bigger picture, sense shifts before they happen, see connections others miss, and navigate complex situations with clarity. Your choices are informed by insight and divine guidance, not merely by logic or circumstance.

When your Third Eye Chakra is balanced, you experience clarity and understanding. You see the interconnectedness of life, perceive truth and opportunity, and align your actions with God’s higher wisdom. Your leadership and decisions reflect vision, integrity, and divine guidance.

Crown Chakra — Oneness & Divine Connection (Top of Head)

Law of Unity
“Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 12:12

The Crown Chakra, located at the top of the head, symbolizes spiritual connection and divine consciousness. It is your connection to the divine—to God’s wisdom, presence, and love. This chakra aligns with the Universal Law of Unity, which teaches that all beings are interconnected, that we are all part of one greater body, and that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

1 Corinthians 12:12 underscores the unity and interconnectedness of individuals within a collective whole. Though we have different roles, gifts, and callings, we are united in Christ. Each part contributes to the greater purpose, and together we form a cohesive whole.

In leadership, a balanced Crown Chakra allows you to lead with humility, perspective, and divine alignment. You see yourself not as the sole architect of your success, but as a co-creator with God. You recognize that your influence and achievements are co-created with God and others, not accomplished in isolation. This awareness cultivates wisdom, discernment, and a sense of responsibility for the collective good.

This alignment brings a deep sense of peace. You stop striving to “make it happen” alone, and instead move in harmony with God’s greater plan—knowing that every person and every circumstance is divinely connected to your journey.

When your Crown Chakra is balanced, you move through life in harmony with God’s plan. You experience peace, purpose, and alignment, understanding that every action, relationship, and opportunity is part of a greater divine design. Your decisions, vision, and leadership reflect not only your purpose but also the interconnectedness of all life.
