Why Kingdom Leadership Matters Now: Leading with Faith and Purpose in Challenging Times

Leading with faith, power, and purpose—especially when the world feels upside-down.

It’s been over 20 days since the Kingdom Factor Experience on April 28—and this blog post is long overdue.

Grief snuck up on me unexpectedly. Just two days after the event, I lost my beloved pup. Along with other life challenges, I was vulnerable to slipping into old emotional and behavioral patterns.

But instead, I embraced my grief—a healing process I shared here: 👉 Grief, Depression, and the Invisible Things Leaders Carry and 👉 Holy Ground: Finding Strength When Estranged From Your Children

After such devastating grief, why am I here again? What is my compelling future?

Three important truths came to mind:

1. The Unchanging Need for Kingdom Leadership in a Divided World

The political conflict both within families and on the global stage has grown untenable—and is unlikely to change soon. Emotional engagement in draining battles leads only to burnout.
Kingdom leadership rooted in peace is powerful, not passive. Choosing peace is a radical act of faith and leadership.

2. Kingdom Leadership Means Aligning with Truth, Not Approval

As Kingdom leaders, we no longer seek approval through power or hustle. Instead, we step into leadership that flows from deep spiritual maturity, anchored in scripture like Psalm 84, which calls us to build from vision and lead from the soul.

3. Healing and Leadership Are One and the Same

Many leaders face grief and spiritual trauma. The Kingdom Factor community offers sacred space for healing integration and spiritual growth, showing that healing is a vital part of authentic leadership.

The Kingdom Factor Experience

Let me finally tell you about the event.

The morning of the event started chaotically—technical issues, weather warnings, and last-minute cancellations. Nevertheless, my Spirit was clear, “Do. Not. Cancel.”

And I’m so glad I didn’t.

We got the tech working. We gathered, prayed, connected, and witnessed the power of Kingdom leadership showing up despite fear, discomfort and resistance.

Thanks to Steve and Dawn from Main Floral for hosting, and to every brave soul who attended despite the storm warnings—you are truly unstoppable.

Why Kingdom Leadership Matters Now

The night before the event, I sat quietly and asked:

Why does Kingdom leadership matter now, in this season?

The answer was clear:

The world is changing fast. Old systems are crumbling. Burnout and overwhelm are epidemic, especially for leaders following Jesus.

We’re hearing a spiritual call to:

  • Go deeper
  • Lead from wholeness
  • Walk by Spirit, not by sight

In an age of AI, constant noise, and disconnected digital life, people hunger for authentic presence, eye contact, purpose, and Spirit-filled spaces.

In-person gatherings like Kingdom Factor are essential now—they nurture a Kingdom awakening and re-alignment with God’s Kingdom values.

A Leadership That Looks Like the Kingdom

At the event, we reflected on this verse:

“If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.”
— Matthew 16:25

This one won’t make sense unless when you’ve actually lived it.

We’ve been taught to hustle, grind, cling to control, and make things happen.

But Kingdom leadership calls us to a completely different posture:

  • Surrender over striving
  • Trust over control
  • Stewardship over ownership

What Are You Stewarding?

One of the questions we explored together was:
What resources have you been entrusted with in your business?
It’s not just about finances. You’ve also been given:

  • Your voice
  • Your story
  • Your platform
  • Your discernment
  • Your patience in relationships
  • Your influence
  • Your peacekeeping
  • Your legacy

We forget that everything we carry has Kingdom value.
We weren’t given these gifts just to build a brand—we were entrusted with them to build the Kingdom.

What Does It Mean to Be a Wise Steward?

For me, it means:

  • Being faithful with what I’ve been given
  • Not hiding
  • Not wasting time
  • Not overcomplicating it
  • Showing up when it’s uncomfortable
  • Listening when God says, “Go.”

We also spent time reflecting on this:
What does it mean to be holy?

David in Psalm 78:72 led “with integrity of heart and skillful hands.”
Not perfection. But alignment. Wholeness.

This Is Your Invitation

Kingdom leadership isn’t about having it all figured out.

It’s about trusting God more than your spreadsheet.
More than your logic.
More than the fear of what others might think.

It’s upside-down to the world,
but right-side-up in the Kingdom.

Now is the time to:

  • Say yes to the call
  • Lead with open hands
  • Live with eternal perspective
  • Multiply what God’s given you

You’re not just running a business—you’re building legacy. And it’s time to make it count.

What’s Next?

As for me? Loss often brings unconsciousness—feelings of lack, fear, and ungroundedness that create separation from God. That’s why it’s so vital to anchor deeply in Christ Consciousness. This is also my Soul’s work, my compelling reason, and so it must continue.

I’m excited to offer this powerful conversation through in-person cohorts and upcoming online groups to deepen and expand this journey.
If you’ve felt the nudge to rise into a new level of Kingdom impact, let’s talk.
